What We Believe
What We Believe

In our doctrinal position, we most identify with the London Baptist Confession of 1689.  We identify with New Covenant Theology and are congregational in our government.  We hold to all five points of the Doctrines of Grace, also known as Calvinism or Reformed theology.  We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the eternal Son of the one true God, and the only Savior that God has given to the world.  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of all our sins, by which we are saved from the holy wrath of God.  Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, to the glory of God alone.

  • "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,"
  • Romans 4:5

"Any concept of grace that makes us feel more comfortable sinning is not biblical grace. God's grace never encourages us to live in sin, on the contrary, it empowers us to say no to sin and yes to truth."
  • Randy Alcorn
